Chint Solar is a leading developer of solar parks in Europe. We have already realized more than 20 projects. In Germany, we have grown rapidly and are starting our first projects this year. Therefore, we are looking for a new colleague who can drive our marketing activities in this market. You will be based at our HQ in Hamburg.

In this versatile role, you will be the sparring partner for our German project development team and colleagues on their marketing and communication activities. You will advise and support them on all kinds of facets involved in the projects we develop and build. From writing clear and unambiguous communication for local residents to organizing PR activities and events. You will also proactively think along with the team about which marketing tools they can use and develop these together with colleagues and external advisors.

In this role, you will work closely with the Marketing & Communications Manager Europe, who is based in Amsterdam, for example, on the annual Intersolar exhibition, internal communication and other European projects.

What you will do:

• advising the German project development team on marketing and communication initiatives
• creating a marketing planning and plan
• drafting and supervising project communication, such as flyers, newsletters and presentations
• writing and distributing press releases
• organising PR activities
• setting up and organising events and fairs
• maintaining the website, SEO support and content creation for our digital media channels
• supporting international marketing projects and initiatives.

Your profile:

• You have 3-5 years of experience in a marketing or communication role.
• German is your mother tongue, your English is excellent.
• Experience in the renewable energy sector is an advantage.
• You are keen to get involved in the energy transition.
• You are an enthusiastic, autonomous, hands-on mentality worker.
• You have a driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout the country (sometimes also in weekends).
